Cinema, as we know it, emerged in the late 19th century, evolving from early experiments in motion picture technology to the sophisticated art form it is today. Key milestones include the invention of the Kinetoscope, the Cinématographe, and the rise of narrative filmmaking. The development of synchronized sound, color, and special effects further revolutionized cinema, leading to diverse genres and international movements.

The state bifurcation laws are still not being implemented in the Telangana state film industry. The joint government’s film industry assets have not been distributed. In Telangana state, associations have been formed in the name of Telugu cinema without using the name Telangana, opening the way for conspiracies to rob the rights due to artists.

Only artists and technicians from Telangana should be employed in the film industry of Telangana state. There is a need to completely cleanse the Telangana state film industry. An organization called Telangana Cinema Vedika has emerged to campaign in that direction.
